Bom Bom is a multi-site café group serving specialty coffee, lunch items and sweet baked goods. It began from a single site in 2016 and now operates five sites in and around the Loughborough area.

As Bom Bom's popularity rose, their sweet offering became difficult to manage in house, with issues such as:

  • Running out of sweet items without a quick way to replace stock

  • Skilled labour tied up in production

  • Limited space to store bulky ingredients and equipment required to make sweets from scratch

  • Leftover waste from unsold tray baked items when demand varied
